In the first counseling session for admission into B.Tech program in Uttaranchal University around over eight hundred applicants from twenty one states of the country participated in the counseling process. Candidates from as far as states like Kerala, Karnataka  and Tamil Nadu attended the session. After a strict scrutiny and personal interview the candidates with high merit in 10+ 2 examination and JEE Main were finally selected for different branches of the engineering program.

University had made extensive arrangement for the smooth conduct of the counseling and for the comfort of the applicants and their parents. University had made arrangement for pick up from railway station and ISBT.

University is grateful to the people of the country for reposing their faith in Uttaranchal University year after year.
