Bad habit Chancellor of the Tribhuvan University Tirtharaj Khaniya today said that the college has received a strategy of selecting instructors just through open-competition.Taking part in an association program 'Educator arrangement procedure and TU's future' sorted out by the All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), Khaniya said the TU has embraced an approach of ceasing with the pattern of employing instructors on contract-premise and on political suggestion and force sharing premise.

ANNISU (R) chair Ramesh Malla demanded that the university hire 51 per cent teachers through open competition.

TU rector Sudha Tripathi said political stability was a must to ensure proper management of the university.

Former rector Mahendra Singh stressed on revising the higher education policy for better results.
